FM Katz urged the 15-member council to pressure Hamas to release all the hostages it is still holding in Gaza, declare Hamas a terrorist organization, and impose sanctions on its leaders.
During the five months that have passed since the attack, the “UN never condemned nor disapproved these Hamas brutal crimes,” he said.
The UN Secretary-General is under fire by Katz, saying that the UN didn't respond properly to the October 7 massacre and invasion because the victims are Jewish.
"Together with representatives of the families, we will discuss the special report of the UN mission, which points out the terrible things Hamas has done," said FM Israel Katz.
"Hamas is trying to present our war as a war against Muslims. This is a lie. Our war is against murderers of children who distort Islam to justify their barbarism," Katz explained.
